Kelly Walker – Musician

... Bernard Lagacé in Montreal and chant at the Benedicine Abbey of Saint Benoît du Lac in Quebec. He worked with Skip Prokop of Lighthouse fame in the 70s. Upon leaving the Dominicans, he began this new phase of his career playing and singing at La Castille and at the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto. He toured with the renowned Irish singer-harpist Mary O’Hara and played to international audiences with her. His solo career continues on today with concerts throughout North America. He has played with the best: Bill King, Wayne Kelso, Dominic Morrissey, John Cheesman, Dave Young and Gary Breit. He is often seen on stage these days – especially giving benefit concerts for a variety of causes – with Mark DuBois - tenor, Susan Cooper - mezzo-soprano, Billy Newton-Davis, Eric Nagler, Jackie Richardson, Mary McCandless and Dini Petty.

His recording career continues. His first albums 24/42 AND Nomad are being re-shaped for a new compilation. His ALL MY LIFE and RIVER Ash are international favourites. He is currently preparing a new CD of piano improvisations entitled SOMEWHERE.
